When it comes to embracing the romance of the South, Mary Claire and Jordan are experts. When the time came to plan their wedding, they knew that they wanted a heartfelt experience that honored their southern roots. These desires took them to Charleston, South Carolina, where the historic elegance of the city became the backdrop for their wedding day.

Mary Claire and Jordan met at University of Georgia, and even though Mary Claire tried to cancel their first date, Jordan persisted (or didn’t get the hint!) and picked Mary Claire up anyways. From that day on, they were inseparable. Jordan even moved to Macon, Georgia one summer to be close to Mary Claire while she spent time with her family. Macon became an important place for them both, so it was natural that they became engaged there. To Mary Claire’s surprise, I was able to capture the entire proposal in secret!

I am so happy that I was there at the beginning of their wedding season all the way to their “I do’s!” Mary Claire and Jordan have a deep love for each other, their families and of course, the beautiful place we call home. Join us and swoon over their incredibly lovely Charleston wedding. I promise this historic city did not disappoint!
