It’s getting cold around here so today I am sharing one of my favorite chilly weddings from this past year! Cue Mark and Jessica’s unforgettable New Year’s Eve party! Mark and Jessica’s love story began at a Marketing firm in Atlanta, but I fell in love with them the moment we met. (Thanks, FaceTime!) Mark and Jessica’s big day was going to be spectacular. A Hayley Paige gown, The Stave Room, kisses at midnight…A BALLOON DROP?! But nothing could prepare me for the emotions I experienced that day. I was already smitten with these two, but seeing them promise each other forever was overwhelmingly beautiful.
Jessica shined in her Blush by Hayley Paige gown. She was perfectly complimented by her bridesmaids who carried gorgeous florals by Everything and More. The girls got ready at one of the coolest homes in Buckhead. (Good news, you can rent this place!) The light was pouring in through the large modern windows creating magical moments for Jessica and her girls. Mark waited for his bride with anticipation. When they saw each other during their first look, they were both overcome with emotion. You could see in their eyes how grateful they were for each other. How much joy they had to be marrying their best friend that day.
After their sweet vows and a celebrity appearance by their adorable dog Letty, Mark and Jessica walked hand in hand for the first time as husband and wife. Since it was New Year’s Eve, their guests were already in the party spirit. Which was good, since the Stave Room is part of the American Spirit Works, a favorite Atlanta distillery! The transformation of the Stave Room was really spectacular. It was a perfect balance of romantic and industrial. We couldn’t help but think about how it complimented Mark and Jessica who are self-proclaimed opposites! Everything worked beautifully together. But what I was most excited about was tucked up in the ceiling, waiting to make its midnight debut.
Ringing in the New Year with this crew was one I’ll never forget.
Mark and Jessica’s dog, Letty, being led down the aisle by their adorable ring bearer was one of the cutest things I’ve seen!
Mark and Jessica’s reception details made us feel like we were in an entirely new magical world.
All of the vendors did an incredible job!
Ending the year with your first dance is pretty much the most romantic thing we can think of!
Dancing ’til midnight is the best way to bring in a new year, don’t you think?
Late night snacks for guests. Y’all, it felt like heaven to these hungry souls after a long wedding day.
I vote that EVERY wedding end in food truck goodness!!!!!
Happy Holidays, friends. May the rest of this season bring you joy, love, happiness and of course, champagne!
