When I heard that Styled Shoots Across America was going to be in my neck of the woods, I immediately stopped what I was doing to check it out! Man, am I so glad that I did! Even with the unexpected torrents of rain at the onset of the shoot, I still walked away inspired and in awe of the excellence and sheer scale of the event put on by Heather Benge and her team. You know me, I’m beyond ready for a wedding across the pond, but if you’re wanting romantic, Euro feels without the travel, 2400 on the River may be just the place for you.

Models’ Caitlin O’Grady + Tavious Peters with Click Atlanta completely blew me away with their beauty, energy, and ability to immerse themselves in the roles of groom + bride!

These florals are what literal dreams are made of!!! I seriously couldn’t stop photographing them!!! Thank you so much Intrigue Designs, Cece Designs LLC, + Thorne and Thistle for pulling out all the stops for the Styled Shoots Across America Conference!

       Many of the structures on the property were brought over from Italy. The water features were especially breathtaking!

 One of my more recent dreams I’ve talked about is to be able to walk into a space where there are SO MANY FLOWERS that I almost choke at the smell when I walk into the room. This day, I LIVED that dream!!! During one of the classes, I decided to sneak away from the group to explore the grounds. Once I saw the Solarium at the top of the hill, I began to make my way there. There was a U-Haul truck and florists inside busily prepping for the shoot. I tapped on the window and was kindly let inside.

The smell of those florals smacked me in the face as I walked inside.

I heard “in your wildest dreams…” and I instantly started crying. It’s funny when I think about it. In my dream, I always pictured myself walking into a grand ballroom where florals commanded the space. I never thought I could be so happy in the middle of a work-in-progress.

I am always grateful for the opportunity to capture beauty. As an artist, I am constantly searching for work that fills my soul, and this conference was all of that and more for me! Thank you so much, Heather, for turning your vision into reality so that photographers like myself can truly become immersed in the prettiest pretty EVER.
