Take a good look at who you sit next to on your first day of orientation — you may just end up marrying them!  That’s exactly what happened to Michael + Stephanie. One thing led to another and an unbreakable friendship between two UGA law school students became a commitment for life when Michael dropped to one knee in the mountains of Highlands, North Carolina.

First came love, then came wedding planning.  It’s no secret that Michael loves golf, so it was only fitting to say their I dos at East Lake Golf Club, the oldest {and one of the most beautiful} golf courses in Atlanta.  Lush florals arranged by Pail & Seed and inspiring music from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra set the tone for their dreamy outdoor ceremony.  Their cocktail hour, followed by a night full of dancing, was everything Stephanie dreamed it could be.  Bobby & the Aristocrats were off-the-charts talented and entertained guests until Michael and Stephanie exited under a canopy of sparklers.  There was so much fun and love at this wedding — go check it out for yourselves!

The tudor style estate at East Lake Golf Club was a stunning backdrop for Michael and Stephanie’s wedding day.

Michael had one request of us on the wedding day–to take a shot of his locker in the Champions Locker Room. Arnold Palmer is his favorite golfer so it’s only fitting he use his locker for his wedding day!

Michael is not an overly emotional guy, but seeing his bride brought about a tear or two. We love when a groom isn’t afraid to show how he feels on his wedding day! 

This flower girl could not be any cuter. She wasn’t too keen on having her photos taken, but when Stephanie handed her her bouquet she lit up. Our mama hearts are already envisioning our girls in flower crowns and tutus. Anyone need a flower girl (or three)? 

There were several yummy food stations at Michael + Stephanie’s wedding, but this mac and cheese was a definite favorite. We may have had one or two rows of them!Stephanie knew that she wanted her wedding to be an unforgettable party, so she hired Bobby & the Aristocrats. There wasn’t a single moment all night that the dance floor was empty. They’re definitely a favorite of ours now!

At the end of the night Stephanie got on stage and gave her best rendition of Miley Cyrus “We Can’t Stop”. She had no fear and her guests sang to the top of their lungs with her!
